The 22nd International Conference on High Magnetic Fields in Semiconductor Physics (HMF-22) will be held in Jozankei View Hotel, Sapporo, located in the north part of Japan, during July 24-29, 2016, as a satellite conference of the International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors (ICPS-2016, Beijing, China). The HMF-22 program will be arranged so that stimulating discussions are possible among participants by allotting sufficient discussion time and by avoiding parallel sessions. We welcome participation of students as well. The scope of this conference covers all the new topics of basic and applied semiconductor related physics coming to light in high magnetic Fields.
Topics
Quantum Hall effect
Graphene and other 2D materials
Topological phases (topological insulators, Dirac/Weyl
semimetals)
Electron correlations and magnetic-field driven phases
Quantum wells, dots and wires
Bulk semiconductors and semimetals
Organic conductors
Magneto-transport and magneto-spectroscopy
Spin-dependence phenomena
New techniques in high magnetic fields
